PAVATI Marine – Guardian model drift boats

This is a CAD drawing of our “Guardian” model drift boat showing a lot of the different sub assemblies and parts that go into making a drift boat. Having computer generated parts guarantees each boat will be the same.

Sailing on Fathers’ Day

Went out for a sail on Fathers’ Day – just me and Dad. Started off pretty quiet – no wind at one point. Got a few mph of wind as we wallowed our way out to Old Harry Rocks. Then, over about 1 minute, the wind went from about 4mph to about 18mph, which is getting on for the maximum for Coronella without reefing. We sailed directly away from shore for a bit and began to head back. We realised we were heading back a bit soon, so turned about and headed off towards Weymouth. We turned back again …
