   this isn’t anti-god…it’s anti-religious establishments….in all honesty, most churches are corrupt…so i agree with this song. i believe in god, but i don’t follow a religion. i live my life and make my choices, and hope my god understands why i made them…i don’t have to go to church and follow a strict set of life-rules to show godi love him….so yes, i agree with this song. most churches are full of greedy people who will say anything you want to hear…and i know from experience.

   Funny how TDWP and ADTR get along…. I mean this song alone would make them not get along that well. Cause TDWP is a christian band. Idk if ADTR are dissing christians with this song…but its a good song. I personally don’t like the lyrics in this song cause I’m christian myself…but the guitar work is nice xD

    i feel it’s a call out to religion and why they don’t believe but I also think its a call-out to all the fake artists out there “screaming” their hearts out for something they don’t believe in, and just doing it because it’s popular. “This will all make sense when the records gold.
    What’s a few more units for your soul?” units as in records.

    im not denying the worth of things unseen…ahem…right there theyre neither accepting nor denying god, but because of religion (specifically twofaced priests) they dont believe, just cant believe in something thats so clouded up in bullshit

    I belive he’s talking about a preacher at a church.. lol for example “Watch what you say on the stand. You’re running in circles. I know more than you think and your words are empty. Of all the heavenly host’s!” idk just sounds like a preacher doing it for money or something lol

    Whether they believe in god or not that’s is up to them. they’re not promoting god with prayers during concert so we can rule that out for sure and as to how you interpret the music is entirely your choice you can’t tell exactly how the singer felt when writing the song just your understanding of the lyrics you don’t know if he is in fact saying that to god or someone he hated or if hes saying it to anyone

    @MusicAsMyEscapE no they arnt a christian band but they are still really good. they curse quite a bit at their shows and they curse a couple times in some of their songs

    i got the ADTR special edition homesick album, and got a free demo of four bands, and one of em was Before There Was Rosalyn, they were pretty good i agree with you
